This holiday season, the American Renascent Center proudly hosted its annual toy drive and We Care giveaway, bringing warmth and joy to families from underserved communities across the region. The initiative began in the middle of November, when generous community members and partners began donating new, unwrapped toys to the Center.
The culmination of these efforts took place on December 20, at the IHOP Restaurant in Alhambra CA. Between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, families gathered to receive gifts for their children. The event was marked by a spirit of genuine kindness and community support.
ARC Secretary Belinda Bao played a key role in organizing the drive, ensuring that donations were collected efficiently and that the giveaway day ran smoothly. On the day of the event, ARC Secretary Angelina Martinez was actively present, helping to distribute toys and greet families with a warm smile.
We extend our deepest gratitude to IHOP for hosting the giveaway with such hospitality, and to the Albertsons Foundation for their generous support, which helped make this year’s effort possible.
