Project Rescue is designed to deliver healthy foods and essentials, without boundaries, to BIPOC families in Los Angeles County/City, who struggle with various mental health disorders. We’ve discovered that many of them are being faced with evictions, even wrongful evictions, due to lack of employment, Covid, and/or discrimination. To support these families we have implemented Project Rescue. This resource acts as a rapid relocation referral to connect families with a coordinate entry system so they may receive the proper housing assistance needed to help prevent homelessness as quickly as possible . This resource, launched in late 2022 has been successful. If you’re in need of housing assistance in order to help prevent homelessness please contact us as soon as possible.
